⚡️Problem

Intelematics were a technology driven organisation with business revenue that relied heavily on mature products, and serving as a development partner for other companies. They wanted to make a shift into a product innovation company, but struggled to finding product-market fit for new potential technologies in the connected mobility industry.

💡Solution

Create a design playbook and educate leadership and technology teams on the value and process of Design Thinking and Human-Centred Design methodologies. The playbook broke down the Design process into consumable and actionable methods across Discovery, Definition, Design and Delivery, and articulated ‘When’ certain tools should be used, ‘Why’ they should be used, and ‘How’ they are used.

✅ Tasks and activities

As the Experience Designer who led the project from the Product and Innovation’s department, I proposed, engaged and delivered the playbook across the organisation.

My responsibilities and activities included:

  • Creating a design playbook

  • Facilitating workshops using design thinking methodologies

  • Brown-bags and education sessions for teams
